IDALS Accepting Nominations For Ethanol and Biodiesel Marketer of the Year Awards

PMCI and the Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship (IDALS) have partnered to create an award that will recognize retailers and marketers showing a commitment to the growth of renewable fuel sales in Iowa.  Two awards will be presented at the 2019 PMCI Annual Meeting and Legislative Reception in Des Moines on January 15, one award will recognize a retailer or marketer for their commitment to the sale of ethanol blended gasoline and the other award will recognize a retailer or marketer for their commitment to the sale of biodiesel blended fuel.  Both award winners will be recognized for their achievements by Iowa Secretary of Agriculture, Mike Naig.  The commitment made by PMCI members to the sale of ethanol blended gasoline and biodiesel blended fuel has resulted in 87.2% of the gasoline gallons marketed in the state being blended with ethanol and 61.3% of on-road diesel fuel gallons marketed in the state being blended with biodiesel.
